Story
Wally wants to butter up his father before he asks him to borrow his less than week old new car for Friday night. Beyond the actual asking, Wally thinks that the situation is perfect when he learns that their parents are heading off on an overnight trip on Friday with another couple, who will be driving, leaving their car at home. After Wally makes his request, Ward, initially reluctant if only because of the brand new state of the car, decides to let Wally use it under strict conditions, to which Wally agrees. When Friday night rolls around, Wally ends up breaking one of the headlights on the car while helping Lumpy with a vehicle push. Wally has every intention of telling his parents the truth, and allowing them to decide what course of action to take to repair the vehicle. But advice from Eddie and Lumpy results in Wally at least getting an estimate on the repair.
