Story
Ward and June receive a note from Beaver's new English teacher Mr. Blair that Beaver is doing poorly in his class and is on the verge of failing. Gilbert's parents receive a similar note. Part of the problem is Beaver's lackluster study habits especially in those subjects he doesn't know well. Unable to help Beaver with his homework as he would like, Ward instead asks Wally to help Beaver with the issues he is having with grammar. Wally goes through the process of trying to explain adverbs and adjectives to both Beaver and Gilbert. Unable to get through to either, Wally instead provides them with one of his old English exams to review. When Mr. Blair gives Beaver's class a pop exam the following day, Gilbert is happy to see that it is the exact same exam Wally gave to them to review the previous night, the exam answers which they've both coincidentally memorized. Beaver, however, feels a little uneasy about the possibility of getting a good mark on the exam when he really doesn't know...
