Story
Orville Luster, a US Marshal Inspector, arrives in Laramie to check on the quality of the job Troop does enforcing the law. He is unhappy with what he sees and threatens to appoint a Deputy US Marshal to Laramie which would effectively end Troop's job along with Johnny's. Troop tries to point out the difference between real criminals versus men blowing off steam. Luster forces Johnny to arrest two men for scuffling in the Birdcage although everyone knows them to be no problem. Troop releases the men later who continue to get drunk in the stable where they overhear two men plan to kill Luster and rob the railroad. Though drunk they stop the men from killing Luster until Troop arrives.
