Story
There is bad blood between Ev Kelleher and Marv Jackson as Kelleher believes Jackson is killing his cattle. Kelleher makes threats in the casino but the local Judge tells him to cool off. Later, during the evening he finds a man at a waterhole on his ranch. The man is Slim returning to Laramie but Kelleher tries to take him to the law until Slim overpowers him and then returns his gun. When Jackson is murdered in front of witnesses, all fingers point at Kelleher. Kelleher claims that he was confronting a cowboy on his property at the time of the murder but the Judge refuses to believe Kelleher. The Judge won't even provide a delay in the trial so his daughter Julie heads off in search of Slim hoping she can return in time with him. By the time they get back to town, the trial has been held and Ev Kelleher hung for murder. But things are not what they seem and Slim and Julie set out to prove someone else murdered Marv Jackson and that the town was in a hurry to hang the wrong man. ...
