Story
Col. John Barrington is a fugitive, having escaped from Fort Laramie during his court martial for the massacre at Wounded Knee. Slim Sherman, who was present at the massacre and a witness at the court martial, finds himself taken hostage by the colonel's daughter, Madge, who's come to Laramie carrying papers that will guarantee her father's vision for the Native American population is carried out. What Barrington doesn't know is that he's lost support in Washington and he's now viewed as a traitor. For Slim it's out of the frying pan and into the fire when he escapes only to find that there are Sioux in the area. Now trapped with Barrington and a handful of his loyal officers, Slim has to negotiate with the Sioux warriors, who want Barrington to pay for his crimes. Slim, Madge, Barrington, and his men just might end up a sacrifice to Barrington's arrogance.
