Story
Kuba Smith is a wily old outlaw on the run from a posse and with substantial price on his head. When he kills the sheriff chasing him he concocts a devious plan to switch identities with the dead man and lure a hapless stranger into thinking he killed Kuba Smith for the reward. Unfortunately the strangers he picks are Slim Sherman and Jess Harper who collect the reward, only to have it stolen from them by Kuba Smith himself. With the only clues the name on a watch and a location from ten years previous, Slim heads off to Prairie Lee to find Kuba's wife, only he finds Kuba's daughter Jane, instead. Kuba is hiding out with Jane and the chase turns into a battle of wits between Slim and Kuba but things are never what they seem.
