Story
Davide Faeti, journalist, who had investigated years ago the murder of Frolo's wife and daughter but then dropped it because of cowardice, gets by chance information of the planned execution of Cattani and tells it to him. Faeti gets into contact with Emma Tindari, widow of the casino manager shot by Frolo. Before she can hand over evidence to Faeti, both are murdered. But a picture of a little girl gets into the hands of Cattani, the only hint for further information. Cariddi and Espinosa increase the pressure on Rasi, which forces him to commit suicide. Esther Rasi decides to stay with Cariddi to collect evidence for Cattani as a way of revenge for her father's death. Meanwhile the Mafia has sent a killer command to Milan to kill Cattani. But instead Silvia Conti is raped and brutally bashed.
