Story
Terrasini proceeds negotiating on the arms deal with Nicola Antinari and Tano Cariddi. Cattani has found, that Alessi has killed Giulia's father. He tells Nicola this, who accepts it rather emotionless, obviously having known it already. Alessi has meanwhile bought the papers, necessary to pass with the arms across the borders. Giulia's mother Anna, lover of Alessi steals the papers and bring them to the monastery, where Cattani recovered. The Abbott helps Cattani by refreshing his contacts in Rome. But his former protégé belongs to the Mafia, so Terrasini gets to know, where the papers are. He gets the papers by having killed the Abbott and Anna in an obscene way. This leads to tensions between Terrasini and Nicola Antinari. Carridi takes himself the latitude on behalf of Nicola Antinari, to kill Alessi after he has signed his resign from all duties in the bank, showing thereby that he will become one of the leading men within the Mafia.
