Story
Cattani has fallen in love with Giulia, knowing, that the Antinari bank is involved in the deal, this leads him into a conflict. Dino Alessi forces Antinari to accept the deal, otherwise the bank will be ruined and with it the family Antinari. Antinari has qualms and travels to his father Nicola in Sicily to ask for his advice. By order of Alessi Di Donato is killed. Cattani has again lost a friend and colleague and decides to stop his investigation to live together with Giulia. Meanwhile Terrasini is released from prison and tries to get back into business by contacting Antinaris father. Tano Cariddi, Nicola Antari's secretary, arranges the the meeting with Terrasini as well as with Dino Alessi. Alessi is asking for general power of attorney as Carlo Antinari is a weak point in the business.
