Story
Valérie, a gifted lawyer in her fifties, acts as if she were still a rebellious teenager with a love of gambling. She takes malicious pleasure defending notorious villains. Although she couldn't care less about her reputation, her daughter, Delphine, is scathing of her professional ethics. Hurt by the criticism, Valérie decides to redeem herself by defending a good family man. Paul is accused, without proof, of killing a drug dealer who was responsible for the death of his teenage daughter. It's a perfect case to help Valérie win back the respect of the press and the public's (and Delphine's) trust. She applies herself enthusiastically, certain she'll be able to get her client acquitted. But then a mysterious abductor snatches her daughter.
