Story
Katarina's grandfather Djuro who has lived most of his life as a recluse, in his will leaves million to their grandchildren Katarina, Tomislav and Kreso, who have to spend one year in his dilapidated house in Ostrovac. In case they fail to do so, the money belongs to the village. Since the village is on the edge of collapse - the young are leaving, no perspective - this money could mean his salvation. The head of the local committee is Damir's father Mile, while his angry opponent is Sveto doing everything to sat on his position. The committee are also conservative teacher Barbara, priest Mirko, Mile's best friend Stipe and Ane, the owner of a local tavern.
