Story
Merle is up on Queensland island to dry out and so Thelma invites Bob to stay while she is away. After viewing Bob's performances in his advertisements for his Datsun car yard on TV, he is invited to become a television star. Ted is not convinced and makes a bet with him that he will not succeed. After Merle leaves her lodgings up north, Thelma flies up there to bring her home. Whilst she is away, Bob and Bruno hatch up a scheme to convince Ted that Bob is the godfather and so win the bet.
