Story
Thelma has an ulterior motive when she gives Ted breakfast in bed - she wants a new clothes dryer. Despite wet socks, Ted is not keen to spend the money. Greta is keen to borrow Ted's typewriter as she wants to write a play and enter it into the WANC awards. When Ted hears that first prize is $5000, he decides that he will become a playwright. He decides to write about his time in the war, when he assassinated Hitler. Ted enlists the help of his family and Greta's drama teacher to present his play in the lounge room.
