Story
An incident at the store leads to Umma announcing her post-Appa life plans in the statistical probability that she will outlive him. Uncomfortable with the notion of dying before her, Appa devises his own post-Umma list of things to do. Janet convinces them that there is a much happier compromise than each coming up with such lists, that compromise which may not be so middle ground. Meanwhile, Janet learns that she has been accepted into a four month internship working for a social service agency in Tanzania. While she tries subtly to convince someone to accompany her, she and Gerald come to some conclusions about their own relationship in light of his and Chelsea's upcoming extended working trip to Korea. Someone else who is also necessarily making a living arrangement change is Shannon as her apartment building has been sold.
