Story
The general scuttlebutt by those hanging out at the store is that Appa will win this year's Moss Park Business Association Businessperson of the Year award, which he's never won in all the years the store has been in operation. When the award winner is announced, it ends up causing a rift between Appa and Umma, which is only exacerbated by the winner's cover page photograph in the community newspaper prominently on display on the store's counter where Appa can continually gaze at it. Meanwhile, there is also a rift forming between new roommates Janet and Gerald, who can only see the bad in the other roommate, while not recognizing their own idiosyncrasies which may be causing them also to be a bad roommate. And Jung has been riding his bike into work. Even though it's only because he doesn't have enough money to buy a car, Shannon still admires his commitment to his health and the environment.
