Story
Waking in the new house in Pasadena, Kendra is uncomfortable about living in a rented house and using other people's furniture. Eddie comes by, and they agree to go to San Diego together that weekend so Kendra can visit her family and friends and Eddie can tell his parents he's gay. When they arrive in San Diego, Kendra drops Eddie off at his parents' home, and she goes to have lunch with her friends from high school, Brittany and Savannah, and Savannah's children. Meanwhile, Eddie is very nervous about coming out to his parents. When his mother raises the topic of when he will "settle down," he finally reveals to her that he is gay. Eddie's mom admits that she had known this for a while and tells him that she still loves him unconditionally. She accompanies Eddie as he also tells his dad that he's gay.
