Story
Br. Robert Luccioni opens the program by considering how to face discouragement and not lose joy over circumstances we cannot control. 'Are you defined by your circumstances?' is the theme of this month's program. The dramatizations that follows brilliantly demonstrates how three modern witnesses that face discouragement gain encouragement by meditating on how their circumstances are similar to that of Jonah's from biblical times. From the Netherlands we hear from an array of volunteers that helped build a new assembly hall. Their challenges, joy, and life changing experiences are spiritually refreshing. "Our past or present circumstances do not define our value before Jehovah". We then head to Greece where many refugees have settled. The local congregations made special arrangements to preach to them in their native language. Their uplifting experiences show how Jehovah cares for every individual.
