Story
After months of often preposterous rumours (Paul Gascoigne? Louis Walsh? Anne Robinson? Leslie Ash? Me? You? Your Auntie Ethel?), we find out who is going into the jungle to face weeks of bug eating, back-biting and utter boredom. The inmates have been on "lock down" (see Michael Buerk's illuminating report on page 20) so the line-up should still be a secret. But you can guarantee there'll be a couple of lovelies (for those all-important waterfall shower scenes), a grumpy old timer or an opinionated politician, several gobby soap actors, a sports person, maybe a chef or a pop star and a few you've never heard of. There may even be an I'm a Celebrity veteran - Katie Price tweeted she's keen to have another go although it's been reported that TOWIE's Gemma Collins isn't strong enough for a return.
