Story
After a household accident in which Lucy gets a black eye, neither she nor Ricky can convince the Mertzes that Ricky didn't hit her. So Lucy decides to make up a doozy of a story - including that she is seeing another man. Fred meanwhile decides to send Lucy flowers under Ricky's name but inadvertently signs his own. When Ethel sees the gift card, she decides that her Fred is Lucy's secret lover.
