Story
Jack's elation wanes when Tom informs him how Jan saved the Mermaid yard. Ken cautions Sarah, but she insists they both must pay. Anna decides that she has to leave. Leo has an unpleasant meeting with Amanda's parents at the yacht club. Avril encourages Frere to see his father. Kate tells Jan that she doesn't recognize the person she's becoming. Ken has an offer for Leo. Jan presents Tom with a design challenge. Sir John warns Edward that Frere is overextending himself to the point of ruin. Emma brings Tom the proof he needs and suggests how to proceed. Leo tires of playing games with Amanda. Polly finds herself alone again and wondering what Gerald has done.
