Story
Tensions run high when the Hartley High kids start at their new school, Hartley Heights. None seems to suffer more than Anita who, after having a cruel prank played on her, is elected to the Student Representative Council at principal Di Barnett's suggestion. The intention is to give the Hartley High students a voice at their new school but the council has no interest in listening to her concerns. Frustrated by the abuse she and her friends are being subjected too, Mai takes matters into her own hands but a costly prank results in a suspension. Les Bailey is also adjusting to the new school and a new job as the science and maths teacher. He clashes with Principal Barnett as the two continually side with their own students on a number of issues. When a student is injured prior to the annual Hartley Heights Blade Run (a roller blading race around the main quad), Di Barnett cancels the race, telling the students that the race is not to be held under any circumstances.
