Story
A new school year begins at Hartley and the new acting principal, Les Bailey, begins by laying down the law by introducing a series of strict guidelines. He recruits Melanie to be the new student liaison officer but her excitement quickly disappears when she realises Bailey is less interested in using her to communicate with the other students as he is in having her help him maintain discipline. Ryan has a series of confrontations with new student Bogdan Drazic. Drazic quickly becomes Bailey's first target but it is Melanie who is the first to be suspended after Drazic plants cigarettes in her bag. Upon returning to school, Melanie's first official act is to resign. Having been named the new manager of the Shark Pool, Katerina decides to take her organisational skills to the warehouse where she creates a duty roster for Charlie and Declan.
