Story
It is time for the end-of-year formal but Hartley can't afford to hold one having decided to spend the money on new computers instead. Without an event of their own, the kids seek out their own solutions. Stassy goes to her cousin's private school formal, bringing Katerina and Charlie. Jealous at seeing Stassy enjoying herself with a mysterious new guy in her life, Matt gets drunk and turns up at their formal where he makes a scene. Tired of having Katerina walk all over him, Charlie finally stands up for himself. Declan is roped into a night at Ronnie's house - the cheap alternative to a formal. It promises to be the most boring evening of his life, and it is made worse when the only arrivals are him and Melanie, the school dag who has a crush on him. Bolton is determined to organise the world's biggest beach party. After their assorted misadventures, everyone ends up back at the Shark Pool for an informal formal. Encouraged by his success, Bolton announces he is leaving for Canberra...
