Story
Daichi accepts the proposal match of Hinata and Kageyama, but he alters it. Instead of being a match against the third-years, it will be a 3-on-3 match, with first-years up against first-years. Daichi reveals he will play on the team that Hinata and Kageyama aren't on and designates the aggressive spiker Tanaka "Ryu" Ryuunosuke as their teammate for the match. While practicing, Kageyama and Hinata meet fellow first-years Kei Tsukishima and Tadashi Yamaguchi, good friends with awful personalities who tease Kageyama about his title. Hinata and Kageyama, fueled on by anger, practice harder than ever, including conducting secret practices in the morning.
