Story
With memories fully restored, Yeon Wu confronts Seol over lying about their past for eight years, learning it was under the directives of Shaman Jang Nok Yeong. Coincidentally, King Hwon, too, has questions to ask the spiritual mother, but both find her inconveniently out of the area. Until able to determine whom her enemies are, Yeon Wu elects to keep her true identity hidden. Both Yeon Wu and Hwon send trusted aides (Seol and Heong Gyu Tae) to question former court lady Noh about events of the past. Only one succeeds before assassins arrive. At the West Infirmary, Yeon Wu and Prince Yang Myeong Gun (newly released from house arrest and the nearest thing to a doctor in the area) meet. Both witness the appalling conditions of the poor but do their best. Back in the capitol city, Queen Yun Bo Gyeong learns of her mistake in identifying Weol and summons her back to the palace for a private confrontation.
