Story
Like the careful pruning of a bonsai tree, Queen Dowager Jung Hui Yun schemes with power-hungry Yun Dae Hyeong to take murderous actions in shaping the future of Korean rule. Unfortunately, Dae Hyeong's killing of a royal goes noticed by a young but powerful shaman named Ari, whom Dae Hyeong rounds up, publicly tortures and executes on false charges. She prophecies that someday his treachery will be revealed to all under the light of the moon and directs her fellow shaman, Nok-yoeng, to watch over an as-of-yet unborn girl with a positive destiny (without revealing who). Years pass, and Nok-yoeng begins to sense the key destinies of three young people: 17-year-old Heo Yeom and his 13-year-old sister, Heo Yeon-woo, who will connect significantly with future king Prince Lee Hwon.
