Story
A German bank gets hacked and Lisa Metz, a Frankfurt-based cybercrime cop, traces the hack back to Timisoara, Romania. Lisa, a German from the old German community in Romania, is sent to the hometown she hasn't seen in over 20 years to investigate the likely return of brilliant coder Seraphim, real name Cornel Popescu. The Timisoara police chief, Vali, teams her up with a surly local cop, Adam Sandor. A police raid on a scammers' nest reveals a surprising connection between the scammer-in-charge, Dragos, and the bank hack. Adam introduces Lisa to Timisoara's underbelly, where upstart Cezar, Dragos' boss, is going head to head with real-estate mogul Luminita.
