Story
The arrival of Mrs. Holmes "young man" at the school gates causes her embarrassment. Ozzie seems to have found out something fresh to use in his campaign against Danny, something about his dad. Martin has difficulty understanding the idea of metaphors in English, but does see that the framework of the ramp the builders are constructing is faulty. Kelly is surprised that Claire made a quick exit from Arnie's company when she learned about his epilepsy. Who is the mystery person who emptied the glass case Mr. Hankin's 52 breeding spiders were in? When he, Mr. Robson and the builder investigate, they find the exit has been blocked. They finally leave hurriedly, and the story soon gets round that an amount of large spiders is on the loose. With Ozzie's help, Claire, Vicki, and their young admirer Josh gain unofficial admittance to the gym at lunchtime.
