Story
The police call at the Spencer house, asking about the assault. Spencer's father claims no knowledge of the incident. Dill's waiting for Mr. Robson, but there another visitor waiting already. Not realizing he's an OFSTED inspector, she gabbles on about how Mr.Robson is like a swan - graceful on the surface, but scrabbling around like mad underneath. Year 9 seem to be enthusiastic with their maths all of a sudden, ever since getting the attractive female teacher - Mrs. Holmes tartly observes that perhaps it's curves rather than angles that interest them. Colin finds that somehow he's agreed to take Kelly and Evelyn to Nathan's gig. When Arnie and Colin go to speak to Nathan they find him angry. Nearby Spencer listens as Nathan talks bitterly about the man in his 50's who was beaten up, not for his wallet, but simply because he was black. Nathan decides that the profits from his gig will go to the victim's family. Colin puts the thought in Arnie's mind that the reason Dill shows ...
