Story
An extended flashback shows the Croydon outlet suffering from the slovenly, indifferent manager Tony. With him removed head office sends in trouble shooter Mary to reverse the shop's fortunes. Staff are apathetic and complaints rife but, with considerable help from young Joe, Mary turns things round with the shop making a profit and complaint- free though what happens next is not exactly what she was hoping for.
