Story
Emery looking forward to a year of middle school without Eddie or Evan, is shocked to find Evan on the bus with him because he skipped a grade. When bad things happen to Emery on his first day of school, Grandma attributes it to being the Year of the Ox on the Chinese calendar. Eddie thinks he has to join the football team to keep Alison. After being cut in tryouts, Eddie tries to trick Alison into thinking he's still on the team, leading to their breakup after she finds out. Eddie's friends welcome him back into the fold after seeing how pathetic he is. Meanwhile, Kenny Rogers' transition manager requests that major changes be made to Cattleman's, upsetting Louis.
