Story
The Fantastic Four travel into the past so that Reed can settle a bet on exactly how the dinosaurs died out. Unbeknownst to them, however, a spider-like Doombot hides on board. As the craft returns to the future, the robot detaches itself and returns to normal time before the craft does. When the Four reappear in the present, they quickly discover that Doctor Doom is in control. They succeed in evading Doom's aerial patrols, but are forced to jettison their time travel equipment in the process. Determined to discover what Doom has done, Reed and Susan sneak into Doom's palace, only to be discovered by Doom -- who no longer has his facial scars. After capturing Ben and Johnny, Doom offers to allow the team to serve him but uses the time-traveling Doombot to destroy the device on Reed's arm holding him to reality.
