Story
A day out for the Four is interrupted by the appearance of an enormous subterranean creature in the middle of Manhattan, which upon her emergence heads towards the Baxter Building. Sue, Ben, and Johnny succeed in distracting the creature long enough for Reed to hit the monster with a stasis beam, temporarily immobilizing it. Seeking to discover the reason for its attack, they follow the creature's trail back underground, to an enormous cavern filled with diamonds. There, they are attacked by the Mole Man's moloids, which succeed in immobilizing the quartet. The Mole Man appears and explains that he was the reason for the creature's emergence, having hidden one of her eggs in the Baxter Building so as to lure her away from the others, all of which are about to hatch. Upon their emergence, they would imprint upon him, allowing him to control them. Armed with this knowledge, Sue escapes and returns to the surface, locating the missing egg just as it hatches and the mother breaks free of ...
