Story
In her first year out of high school, Aleisha gets her driver's licence and she also has a boyfriend. Since graduating from school she has slept in nearly every day, but hanging around at home and making endless cups of coffee has started to get boring. Daniella is keen for Aleisha to get a job, so she subtly drops ideas about jobs and career paths for Aleisha to consider. Interested in both fashion and beauty, Aleisha gets the opportunity to model in a photo shoot for an Indigenous fashion brand and briefly considers pursing this - with encouragement from her sister Shenika, who is a professional model. Aleisha takes the initiative to look for a job locally and scores a job at a fruit and vegetable shop in town. To her surprise it's actually fun. Aleisha feels empowered and changed for the better since starting work and she can finally help her Mum out with board money. As well as having a job, Aleisha reveals she has always had a dream to be a nurse and looks into a nursing course ...
