Story
Tiffany Shore grows up suspecting that her father, Anthony Allen Shore, is evil, due to the physical and emotional abuse he inflicts on her and her older sister, Amber. Tiffany keeps the abuse at home secret out of fear of provoking even worse violence to his daughters. He has the community convinced he is a devoted father and a good provider by a show of expensive material gifts, while the girls lack the basic essentials of proper food and loving support behind closed doors. As she entered puberty he began drugging the girls at bedtime with laced hot chocolate and sexually assaulting them in their sleep. She blocked out the experience and endured it hoping, in vain, to spare her sister from the same abuse. Her father even convinced the girls to put on a show of happiness when teachers reported him to CPS for neglect. Her first plan to escape was a suicide attempt.
