Story
It really is "one of those days" when Roy and John walk into a family brawl when the mother-in-law feigns illness to stay at her son's home, which ends with her infuriated daughter-in-law slapping her husband so hard she knocks him off his feet. The paramedics try, unsuccessfully, to intervene. (Roy's shirt is later shown to have been torn apart during the brawl, as he and Gage try to recount the incident to the others.) Later, the duo assist a drunken indigent in a low-income hotel whose elevator is, of course, broken. A young boy suffers a seizure in the ER. Dixie and Dr. Early suspect meningitis, Dr. Brackett asks the mother about the boy's medical history, but she's more interested in petition drives than her son. The firemen reach a two-car accident but the victims have disappeared. Roy and John treat a man who fell in the bathtub, but they find something more serious, and later rescue a child trapped in a burning building.
