Story
At various Pacific coasts along the Ring of Fire, geological evidence combined with virtual draining show huge evidence of past transformations in relief, flooding, tsunamis, landslides - resulting from tectonic and volcanic activity and massive effects on wildlife. Some remain in popular cultural memory with native Americans, some live with frequent 'minor' incidents as quake-prone Japan and some are in for occasional dramatic shocks, as New Zealand since the Christchurch quake. As many are likely or even inevitable to reoccur, major human populations along those coasts.
