Story
The Relevant Law
The community in Gubbio is up in arms about the fate of a community centre for children with learning difficulties. Zanca, a developer, wants to turn it into a commercial venue. Linda, the young doctor who runs the centre, her partner Enrico, and the mothers and children involved, stage a noisy protest against the planned closure. The local police are called and Captain Anceschi has to restore order. On Don Matteo's suggestion, he gives the crowd some extra time to resolve the issue. When the developer is found bludgeoned to death with a hammer, suspicion falls on Enrico, who owns the murder weapon.
