Story
The Gift
A cake-baking contest brings famous pastry chefs to Gubbio. During the contest, one of the judges dies, poisoned by a piece of cake laced with strychnine. Suspicion falls on the victim's ex-girlfriend, the beneficiary of his multi-million euro life insurance policy. Thanks to the help of Don Matteo, the cops discover that the death is in fact an "accident". The murderer intended to kill one of the contestants. But the solution to the mystery lies in a secret recipe.
