Story
The corpse of former GDR-swimmer and Olympic coach Manfred Schmidt, missing since 11 Juli 2008, is found. Obvious 'illegal' doping-suspicions are confirmed by his remarried then wife Beate Berger, former athlete Inga Thalheim and Beate's second husband Wilfried Berger who works for the medical insurance, where the delicate problem of Inga's wheelchair)stuck son Philipp provides a new angle to the case. Henrik Mertens can't concentrate on the case, worrying he can't raise the huge ransom demanded by escaped murdered Jürgen Zoch for abducted Katrin Stoll , and the fiend clearly has an inside source to spy on him.
