Story
As hired mountain guide, Markus Kofler warns Daniel they can't go on climbing the Drachenstein unless wife Maike get over her acrophobia. Suddenly Maike stays behind and goes missing after a call with Daniel about returning, leaving her backpack and a shoe by the wayside, spotted descended by hiker Margarete Huber. A police and rescuers search, including newbie Simon Plattner and dogs, finds no trail. Daniel, a Munich cop, has a phone app to track her. Markus starts guessing Maike wanted to disappear when Margarete assures him in the hotel, he's not to blame. In fact her son, hunky Ben, arranged for Maike to get over a steep slope to a chalet as safe-house, but Margarete's car accident upsets the plan to evacuate her to a new life.
