Story
The local animal shelter visits with dogs for the residents to stroke and Derek's favourite is little terrier Ivor so he is heart-broken to be told that Ivor is old and cancerous and has to be put down. Hannah is also under a lot of stress as Tom decides that he needs to go back to the Merchant Navy, which she sees as their splitting up. She can also do without Kev's attempts at erotic art and robot building which bring him into conflict with the loathsome Geoff. However Kev cheers everybody up when he makes a statue of Ivor out of bits of scrap metal.
