Story
The commissioner arranges for DS Madeleine Dumas's return to Paris to be delayed to urgently prevent tourist panic after Adam Renshaw's corpse was found in the police station, so Jack's beach shack serves as temporary HQ instead of the apparent crime scene. A torrential rainstorm lashing the island forced him, two Engish study mates and their trip leader camping in the jungle to seek refuge. Adam's corpse was dumped inside the police station, which was locked.from the inside Jack must work out their relationships, who the killer is and how the victim got left on his doorstep. Meanwhile widower Jack anxiously waits till he can join his daughter Siobhan in England, where her steady boyfriend left her for another.
