Story
Eddy eagerly prepares to take over as the contracting firm's CEO, and other job shifts involving his brother and in-laws. However, patriarch Frans ignores him when a municipal contract is awarded to a competitor from another province. Frans openly blames town official Victor Brepolsfor failing to deliver on local solidarity and former bribes, ignoring that he didn't even enter a formal tender. Frans orders Frakke's team to undo all his competitor's fine work at night, but is found out and threatened with the legal consequences of his countless 'fixed' arrangements. The chapter further worsens Frans's cardiac condition.
