Story
It's Bacon's last day before he turns full-time grocer. Jomme however seeks all attention for his summer trip to Lourdes, albeit his tacky souvenirs are embarrassingly cheap, even by his standards. Secretary Mireille is finally back, glowing happily as deliberately single mother of an adulterous Brazilian's daughter, Clara. To even is surprise, Persez' executive initiative award-winning economies plan is to be tested in practice, stat, which means misery and discontent for all. The worse surprise however was feared only by the director general, as Verastenhoven now a junior minister's adviser, finally got a plan approved for a merger which suppresses the Persez directorate, so all get transfers, except now utterly lonely Jomme. They all return moths later for a reunion.
