Story
With the investigation of Roy Cardinale's death, John Dunne, in his new found relationship with and trust of Leary, tells him and Kosmo of the incidents involving two police constables the night of Roy's death. Not witnessing the incident directly, John infers that the constables used force against Roy before they dropped him off based on their behavior with him and Roy that evening. Beyond agreeing to identify the constables for Leary and Kosmo, John is still wary of being involved officially in the investigation due to his father's position as a firefighter and the tight community between fire and police. With the investigation of Michael Zang's shooting death, Shannon and Williams quickly learn on whose side Richard Norton's assistant is, she who conveniently was absent from the office when the shooting took place. On the plus side for the investigators, Zang's car is found. But Shannon learns that he has to watch his and Williams' back when he is spotted on a stakeout of Norton, ...
