Story
An elite group of fire fighters are killed in a wild fire in a wooded area surrounding Boston. Their charred remains are found in the opening of the episode. The coroner's office must investigate the deaths while the wild fire still rages. A man falls on Dr. Mahesh "Bug" Vijayaraghavensatanaryanamurthy's (Ravi Kapoor) new sports car from a height of around 10 stories. Dr. Vijayaraghavensatanaryanamurthy must determine whether the fall was suicide, accidental or murder. If the fall were to be ruled a suicide, the insurance company would declare the accident an act of God and would not cover the extensive damages to the car. The operator of an industrial paper shredder and bailer (Bill Mumy) plays a central role in events related to this part of the episode.
