Story
The 1997 double homicide of Charles and Kathy Hayes in La Porte, Texas. The couple were badly beaten with a hammer while Charlie's 16 year-old daughter, Tiffenie slept in her bedroom. Investigators considered four suspects: 1) Tiffenie, 2) Tiffenie's boyfriend at the time who is now her husband, 3) Charlie's second cousin, and 4) a co-worker of Charlie's. After re-interviewing the suspects and talking to people who knew them, new insight is revealed allowing investigators to narrow down the suspect pool and ultimately obtain a grand jury indictment.
