Story
Granny Barclay, an elderly cove woman tells Christy and her students a frightening story about a nearby cave. The effect it has on her students motivates Christy to educate the children on the truth behind mountain folk tales and beliefs. Her creative solution is to take her pupils on a field trip to a cave surrounded by myth and legend. Meanwhile, Ruby Mae's estranged father returns leaving Ruby Mae disillusioned about herself until she discovers her relation to a famous heroine.
