Story
Ben Creed would like Cheyenne to stay on as his top foreman. They respect each other but Cheyenne doesn't like Creed's methods. Ben pays his men well and buys the drinks - just enough to get the men into poker games to win back their wages. While leaving he's jumped and given a sizable headache. On second thought he stays with Ben to repay him for saving his hide not realizing Ben set up the whole event. Later, while driving a herd of cattle they run into Thora Flagg in a wagon which is overturned when the herd startles the horses pulling the wagon. After Cheyenne helps pull Thora from under the wagon, Ben tells him to help Thora get to where she wants to go. Thora takes advantage of this to keep Cheyenne to guide her to the nearby town and railhead where she wants to sell her stock. When she is unable to hire Cheyenne as her foreman, she decides to win him and the $4000 Ben wants to cross his land.
